This ambitious project, the largest we’ve undertaken to date, was a collaborative effort with Millerhare Visualization Studio. Our task was to delve into specific areas of Kings Cross in London. Renowned for its public spaces, heritage buildings, and world-class architecture, Kings Cross stands as one of the most celebrated urban redevelopments globally.
My focus centered on the residential area, particularly the iconic gasholders. These structures exude grandeur, and I aimed to capture their essence. Our brief called for two descriptive views that would provide a comprehensive perspective of the building and its surroundings. These views showcased the scene under varying conditions, across different seasons or at various times of the day. Additionally, we crafted a vignette focusing on specific aspects of the project, such as materials used.
Project length: 3 weeks/ Software used: 3Ds Max, Corona, Photoshop
To kick off the project, we reviewed all the files to identify what is relevant for us to import in to our scene. Next, we strategically positioned our cameras to capture the desired angles. I presented three hero images and two vignettes to our client, Miller Hare, to choose from.

For the next meeting with the client I presented three different concept  sketches for the hero shots and described the overall moods for the images using lightreferences.  The following two were the chosen concepts from the client.
CONCEPT A
Summer evening with people walking or standing looking up at the gasholders. Interior and exterior lights enhancing the public space. Blue hour lighting that adds an ambiance to the public space
CONCEPT B
Foggy wet atmoshphere. Focus on making parts of the building stand out from the fog.
